Maison de Racines — A Place of Stability During Life Transitions

Maison de Racines is being developed as a supportive place to live for adults going through a major life transition or a period of recovery. Residents will have a stable home, meals, practical help with everyday life and human connection, with additional individual support adapted to their needs.

Our mission

Stable housing. Everyday support. Individual support when needed.

The goal is to help people rebuild stability, support recovery when relevant, and gradually move towards greater independence and, where appropriate, social or professional reintegration.

Why Maison de Racines?

One home. Different people. Different levels of support.

The support adapts to the resident — not the resident to the programme.

Some people may live almost independently. Others may need more regular practical or individual assistance. The level of support can change as stability and independence return.

Who we support

Different life situations. One need for stability.

People together around a table
  • Burnout, exhaustion, career change or loss of direction
  • Separation, divorce, relocation or major family changes
  • Social isolation, loneliness or a difficult period in life
  • Recovery after detox or rehabilitation, or while following an outpatient recovery programme
  • Social or professional reintegration after a period of instability
  • Adults who temporarily need a more supportive environment before living fully independently again
  • Older independent adults who value community, structure and respectful support

These situations are different, but they can share the same need: a stable place to live, everyday structure and the right level of human support.

People can lose stability long before they need institutional care.

Mikhail Martynov

Sometimes what is missing is not another institution, but a stable home, a normal daily rhythm, practical help and people nearby.

Maison de Racines is my response to that gap: a place where people can regain stability, feel less alone and gradually move forward with greater confidence and independence.
